The New Zealand-born,Maryanne Bilham is an award winning photographer with over three decades of industry expertise spanning 4 continents. Best known for subjects including rock ‘n’ roll musicians, fashion, advertising campaigns, hotels and resorts.
Maryanne moved to Hong Kong in the mid-’80s where she produced photography campaigns for Asia’s top advertising agencies and music companies. When Bilham moved to Los Angeles in the mid-’90s, she formed a business with husband (rock photographer) Robert Knight. Maryanne’s work was featured in “Rock Prophecies,” a $1 million feature-length documentary based on Knight’s life, on 200 PBS television stations and is also available on Netflix and Itunes.
Maryanne has created promotional imagery for numerous A List musicians, including album covers, editorial & billboards while working with record labels, artist management and music manufacturers.
Now based back in New Zealand she shares her time between these two markets.
Her short film (directorial debut) on Ingo Swann, author, psychic spy and visionary artist "A Life Gone Wild"won Best Bio Pic in 2017 Philip K Dick Film Festival in NYC.
